Terms and Conditions
These terms apply when you use PielGlow, a skincare and wellness tracking app run by Bloom & Balance, an independent business based in India ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use PielGlow. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
1. Who can use PielGlow
You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for the information you give us and for keeping your login details safe. Tell us at once if you think someone else has accessed your account.
2. Your account
You can sign up with email and password, or with Google or Apple where offered. Please give accurate details. One account is for one person. We may suspend accounts that are used to abuse, attack or overload the service.
3. Free and Premium features
Some features are free. Others, such as unlimited ingredient conflict checks, AI Glow Scan, trigger patterns and unlimited shelf items, need a paid Premium subscription. What is included in each plan is shown in the app and may change over time. Glow Scan has a monthly scan limit, shown in the app.
4. Subscriptions and billing
- Premium is offered as a monthly or a yearly plan. Current prices and any introductory offer, such as a free trial or a referral discount, are shown at checkout.
- Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. We do not see or store your full card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. If your plan has a free trial, you will be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
- You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid for. To cancel, use the link in your Dodo Payments receipt email, or contact us.
- Taxes may be added at checkout depending on where you live.
- We may change prices with advance notice. A new price applies from your next renewal.
5. Refunds
Payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, so please cancel before a renewal if you do not want to continue. This does not affect any rights you have under the law where you live, for example statutory consumer rights in the UK or EU, or any refund terms that apply at checkout. If you were charged by mistake, contact us and we will help.
6. Your content and photos
You keep ownership of the photos, notes and other content you add. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the features you use, as described in our Privacy Policy. Only upload photos of yourself, or of someone who has clearly agreed. Do not upload anything unlawful or that infringes another person's rights.
7. AI features
Glow Scan uses an AI service to produce observations and routine suggestions from your photos and answers. AI can be wrong, and lighting, makeup, filters or camera quality can change what it sees. Treat results as general guidance only. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on them.
8. Acceptable use
- Do not copy, resell, reverse engineer or scrape the app, or try to get around limits or payments.
- Do not use the app to harass others or to break the law.
- Do not try to access other users' data or interfere with our systems.
9. Our rights in the app
The PielGlow name, design, text, code and routines are owned by us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app while these terms apply. All other rights are reserved.
10. Reminders and third-party services
Notifications depend on your device and browser settings and may be delayed or blocked by your phone's battery settings. PielGlow relies on third-party services such as Supabase, Google, Dodo Payments and Netlify. We are not responsible for outages or changes in those services, but we will try to keep the app working.
11. Availability and changes
We try to keep PielGlow available and accurate, but we do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features. If we make a material change that disadvantages paying users, we will give notice where reasonable.
12. Disclaimers and limit of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of data, or any harm that arises from relying on the app's wellness information instead of professional medical advice. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.
13. Ending your account
You can stop using PielGlow at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or misuse the service. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as ownership, disclaimers and liability) continue after your account ends.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using PielGlow after an update, you accept the new terms. For important changes we will tell you in the app or by email.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction, except where the law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
